Communications

"The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn't being said. The art of reading between the lines is a life long quest of the wise."

- Shannon L. Alder

Improving Our Communications Skills Work That's Never Done

I never believed that I was a very good communicator, whether it was in front of large groups or one-on-one. Luckily I was aware of this early, probably in the 8th grade, and I began focusing on how to improve.

What I realized along the way is that communicating is both an art and a science, and you can have significant improvement by intentional focus and practice.

It can be fun, but it's difficult, reflective work, and it's work that's never finished. I look forward to sharing with you my lessons learned and the resources that have helped me the most.
